Special Transformers

TMC designs and manufactures dry-type cast resin (CRT) or vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) and oil-immersed transformers, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for a wide range of applications including infrastructure, renewable energy, commercial buildings, and industrial plants. These transformers are engineered for long-term, low-maintenance operation in indoor or outdoor environments where safety, energy efficiency, and durability are critical.

All TMC transformers are manufactured in compliance with international and regional standards, including AS/NZS 60076.11, EN 50588-1, EU 548/2014, and are backed by certified quality systems: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS/NZS 4801/OHSAS 18001. Whether dry-type or oil-filled, Engineering designs incorporate single-phase or multi-winding foil or wire-wound copper or aluminium conductors, supporting insulation classes up to Class H (180°C). Cast resin units offer oil-free, fire-safe operation, while oil-immersed models provide efficient cooling and proven long-term performance across demanding load cycles.

Configuration options are available to suit varied installation conditions. Cooling systems include natural air (AN), forced air (AF), gas cooled (GNAN) for dry-type, and ONAN/ONAF options for oil-cooled units. Enclosures range from IP00 to IP66, in mild or stainless steel, with finishes and protections suitable for industrial, coastal, mining, or high-contamination environments. Fan-assisted overload handling, sealed tank options, and integrated monitoring make TMC transformers highly adaptable.
